Originally from Shoreham England, UK Writer/Director Mike Hurst lives in Los Angeles and has been busy on back to back productions.  Recently, he wrote and directed, "Pumpkinhead:Dark Hell" for Brad Krevoy and MPCA. Hurst's past work includes; directing "House of the Dead 2" for Lion's Gate (based on the best-selling video game by Sega) and writing and directing both "Room 6" (starring Jerry O'Connell and Christine Taylor) and "The Darkroom" (starring Lucy Lawless). 

Hurst previously scripted and helmed the 1999 crime thriller "New Blood" (starring John Hurt, Nick Moran, Carrie-Anne Moss and Joe Pantoliano), and the crime comedy "The Baby Juice Express." In 2004, Hurst wrote the screenplay for the feature film "Nature Unleashed: Fire." Earlier in his career, Hurst took part in producing the films "You're Dead" (1999) and "Project: Assassin" (1997).

Hurst is currently casting his action/sci-fi script, "HeadSpace" and is also shopping several completed spec scripts including his horror film, "Seasickness".
