Luis Cruz started his industry career as a musician, composer and sound designer working on shows including Dateline NBC, The Today Show, The Tonight Show, Conan O’Brien, NBA on NBC, NBC Sports and Survive! on the Discovery Channel.Cruz also worked on various network specials including Tom Brokaw’s Greatest Generation and People Magazine’s Most Intriguing, which he also scored.

Working alongside some of the brightest and most creative talent in the industry Cruz learned the value of a good story. Inspired to try his hand at writing, he moved to Miami in 2002 where he worked on his craft. By 2008 Cruz had written three produced screenplays for Nasser Entertainment Group: Desperate Hours, an Amber Alert starring Tom Berrenger, Britt Mc Killip & Genevieve Beuchner, Christmas Crash starring Michael Madsen, Alexandra Paul, Elyse Levesque & Melanie Papalia and Courage, currently in production. Cruz works in all genres and is a fast writer enjoying the process of collaboration.

Cruz currently has several completed original screenplays and is also working as a writer for hire.
