Roma Roth

Roma Roth has spent over ten years actively participating in the film and television industry. Early on in her career she wrote, directed and produced several documentaries including the award winning, "Uncommon Chimpanzee." Shortly thereafter, Roth began working on television series such as "Lonesome Dove" and "Viper" along with many made for TV movies for companies including HALLMARK, GREEN/EPSTEIN, PARAMOUNT TELEVISION and DEPASSE ENTERTAINMENT to name just a few.

In 1996 Roth opened and oversaw the Los Angeles division of Canadian owned TAURUS 7 FILMS acting as a development and production executive and working on feature films such as "The Second Arrival" starring Patrick Muldoon and "Provocateur" starring Jane March and Lilo Brancato.

In 1998 Roth was asked to open and oversee the LA division of Canadian based MINDS EYE PICTURES. During this time, Roth developed many features in addition to working as a producer on "Viva Los Nowhere" starring James Caan, and "One Last Dance" starring Patrick Swayze.

In 2001 Roth opened her own production company, R&R PRODUCTIONS and specialized in co-productions and international financing. She developed numerous feature films and television series and acted as an Associate Producer on "Curse of the Komodo" for THE SCI-FI NETWORK.

In 2004 Roth became Manager of Reel World Management along with Tom Berry. The company specializes in representing international writers and directors in Hollywood. RWM has affiliations with several US and UK based agencies through which they share several award winning clients.

Roth is a member of the THE DIRECTORS GUILD OF CANADA and THE ACADEMY OF CANADIAN CINEMA AND TELEVISION and holds a Masters Degree in Anthropology.
